Bid and ask spread

Understanding the two price lines on your chart

What are Bid and Ask prices

The two lines on your chart represent the Bid and Ask prices.

  • Bid price is the highest price buyers are willing to pay

  • Ask price is the lowest price sellers are willing to accept

The difference between them is called the spread.

What this means

Every trade is executed using these prices:

  • You buy at the Ask price

  • You sell at the Bid price

This is why there is always a small difference when entering or closing a trade.
