Available instruments

Why some symbols may or may not appear in TradeLocker

Important

Instrument availability depends on the type of account you are using.

Broker or prop firm accounts and Open Demo Access (ODA) do not always show the same instruments.

Who controls available instruments

For broker or prop firm accounts, available instruments are determined by your provider.

Your broker or prop firm controls:

  • Available symbols

  • Trading hours

  • Contract specifications

  • Spreads

  • Commissions

  • Symbol suffixes

  • Account-specific access

TradeLocker does not create or manage the instrument list for broker or prop firm accounts.

Open Demo Access (ODA)

For ODA, the instruments shown in the app are the full list available in that demo environment.

ODA is a preview of TradeLocker and does not include the full broker-driven instrument catalog.

If you cannot find a symbol in ODA, that symbol is not available in ODA.

To access a broader instrument list, you need to connect a supported broker or prop firm account through TradeLocker Hub.

Symbol types and suffixes

Some symbols may include suffixes such as:

  • .pro

  • .mini

  • Other variations (e.g. .x)

In general:

  • .pro → usually tighter spreads with commission per lot

  • Standard / no suffix → wider spreads, often no commission

  • .mini → smaller contract sizes

Exact conditions depend on your broker.

If a symbol is missing

If you are using a broker or prop firm account, contact your provider to confirm whether the symbol is available for your account.

If you are using ODA, the instruments visible in the app are the only ones available.
