What is TradeLocker

Overview of the TradeLocker trading platform

Important

TradeLocker is a trading platform, not a broker or prop firm.

TradeLocker provides:

  • Trading interface

  • Charting environment

  • Execution tools

  • Trading workflows

Your broker or prop firm provides and manages:

  • Trading accounts

  • Funds

  • Deposits and withdrawals

  • Trade execution

  • Account permissions

TradeLocker also offers a free demo environment that lets you explore the platform without creating an account with a broker or prop firm.

What TradeLocker does

TradeLocker is a modern trading platform built around a chart-first trading experience.

The platform combines:

  • Advanced charting

  • Order execution

  • Position management

  • Risk management tools

into a single interface.

Users can:

  • Analyze markets

  • Place trades

  • Manage positions

  • Monitor account activity

directly from the chart.

TradingView chart integration

TradeLocker uses TradingView charting technology inside the platform.

This allows users to:

  • Use advanced charting tools

  • Analyze markets visually

  • Execute trades directly from charts

without switching between separate applications.

Where TradeLocker is available

TradeLocker is available on:

  • Web browser

  • Desktop application

  • Mobile app for Android

  • Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

The experience is designed to remain consistent across devices.

What TradeLocker does NOT do

TradeLocker does not:

  • Hold user funds

  • Process deposits or withdrawals

  • Execute trades independently

  • Control broker-side account rules

  • Manage balances or payouts

These responsibilities belong entirely to the broker or prop firm connected to the account.

How TradeLocker works

There are two ways to access TradeLocker.

1. Broker or prop firm account

TradeLocker connects users to external brokers or prop firms.

The broker or prop firm supplies:

  • The trading account

  • Pricing and liquidity

  • Trade execution

  • Margin and leverage rules

TradeLocker displays this data and provides the environment used to interact with it.

2. Open Demo Access (ODA)

It's a free demo environment provided directly by TradeLocker.

ODA is intended for:

  • Learning the platform

  • Practicing trading

  • Testing TradeLocker features in a demo environment

ODA allows you to explore the TradeLocker platform before opening an account with a broker or prop firm.

Because ODA is independent from broker-managed accounts, some features, including TradeLocker Studio, are not available in ODA.

Useful to know

TradeLocker is designed to combine charting and execution into one workflow, reducing the need to switch between separate charting and trading platforms.

Broker-linked accounts and TradeLocker Open Demo Access (ODA) are separate environments.

If you want to trade with a broker or prop firm account, use TradeLocker Hub to find a supported provider.
