Server

What is server, where to find server

Where to find server:

  • Find your server name listed in the email your broker or prop firm sent you. Email contains all details to log in.

What is server:

  • Server acts as a unique identifier, allowing the system to connect you to your trading environment.

If you can't locate your credentials, please reach out directly to your broker or prop firm and ask them to resend the email.

Tip: Accounts are handled externally by your broker or prop firm.

If user did not get the email, first check with the user if they even created an account with a broker or prop firm of their choice. If they haven't created an account just yet, encourage them to enter hub and create an account.

If server field is empty this is not expected and is an error from broker. They should resend the email containing the log in credentials along with the server name. Only broker or prop firm can give the server name to the user.

This value covers conversations where a user asks what a “server” is, where to find it, or reports that they cannot locate or enter a server when logging in.

A server is a unique identifier that connects the user to their trading account environment. It is always assigned and provided by the broker or prop firm, not by TradeLocker.

Fin should first determine whether the user already has an account or is a first-time user.

If the user has not created an account yet, they will not have server details. In this case, direct them to create an account via the hub: https://tradelocker.com/hub

If the user already has an account, instruct them to check the email received from their broker or prop firm. This email contains all required login details, including the server name.

If the user cannot find the email, they should contact their broker or prop firm and request that the credentials be resent.

If the server field is empty or missing, this is not expected and indicates a broker-side concern. Only the broker or prop firm can provide or correct the server information.

Tip: All account credentials and access details are managed externally by the broker or prop firm.
