Recover or change your broker or prop firm generated TradeLocker password

Important

This article applies only to broker-owned or prop firm-owned TradeLocker accounts.

TradeLocker cannot view, recover, or reset your broker generated password.


What this means

Your TradeLocker access password is not created directly inside the TradeLocker platform.

The password is generated and provided by your broker or prop firm together with:

  • Your server

  • Your login email

  • Your account access details

If this password needs to be changed or recovered, the process must be handled through your broker or prop firm.


Find your original login email

Your original welcome email from your broker or prop firm should contain:

  • Server

  • Email

  • Password

If any of mentioned fields are missing, contact your broker directly.

To find the original email, try searching your inbox for:

  • “TradeLocker account”

  • Your broker or prop firm name

Saving this email for future reference is strongly recommended.


Avoid login mistakes

When entering credentials:

  1. Copy and paste them directly from the email

  2. Pay attention to similar looking characters such as:
    - O and 0 (capital letter O and number zero)
    - l and I (capital letter I and lowercase letter L)


How to reset your password

  1. Sign in to your broker’s or prop firm’s dashboard

  2. Open:

    • Account settings

    • Profile settings

    • Security settings

  3. Select:

    • Reset Password

    • Change Password

Then follow the instructions provided by your broker or prop firm.


If you cannot access the broker portal

Contact your broker or prop firm support directly.

Your broker dashboard password and your TradeLocker password are never the same.
