Maintenance

What to expect during scheduled TradeLocker maintenance

Important

TradeLocker maintenance is scheduled almost exclusively on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

During maintenance, parts of the trading engine may be temporarily offline. Pending orders and Stop Loss / Take Profit may not trigger during this time.

Maintenance is always announced in advance through email and the TradeLocker Discord community.

What this means

During scheduled maintenance, some platform functions may become temporarily unavailable.

This can affect:

  • Order placement

  • Order modification

  • Trade closing

  • Pending order execution

  • Stop Loss and Take Profit triggering

  • Studio bot operation

All users may also be automatically logged out during maintenance.

Before maintenance

To reduce trading concerns during maintenance:

  • Avoid opening new trades close to the maintenance window

  • Avoid placing time-sensitive pending orders

  • Verify that your Stop Loss and Take Profit are already configured correctly

  • Pause strategies that depend on fast execution, such as scalping or news trading

  • Stop Studio bots before maintenance begins

Make sure you also have your login credentials ready so you can sign back in afterward.

During maintenance

Do not rely on refreshing or repeatedly logging in as a fix.

While maintenance is active, you may temporarily lose the ability to:

  • Place trades

  • Modify positions

  • Close trades

This behavior is expected during the maintenance window.

After maintenance

  1. Log out and sign back in once

  2. Verify your:

    • Prices

    • Charts

    • Open positions

    • Pending orders

If something appears incorrect:

  • Immediately take a screenshot or record a video

  • Record the server name

  • Note the approximate time of the concern

Pending orders during maintenance

Pending orders, Stop Loss, and Take Profit are not guaranteed to trigger while maintenance is in progress.

This also applies to Demo accounts.

Broker and prop firm responsibility

Trade execution and account handling are ultimately controlled by your broker or prop firm.

If you have concerns related to:

  • Execution results

  • Account balances

  • Trade outcomes during maintenance

Your broker or prop firm is the correct party to investigate them.

Useful to know

Maintenance windows are almost never scheduled on weekdays, only during weekends.
