Guidance
TradeLocker Studio is an ecosystem within TradeLocker, not a separate platform or service. It is accessible through the TradeLocker desktop app and is used for advanced trading workflows such as automation, bots, API usage, and strategy backtesting.
Studio enables users to create, configure, and run trading bots, test strategies using historical data, and interact with automation tools. It is intended for technical or advanced users working with logic-based or automated trading setups.
Studio does not have its own accounts or login system. Access is based on the trading account provided by the user’s broker or prop firm. If a user cannot access Studio or their credentials are not working, this should be treated as a broker-side or account access concern.
Fin must only reference Studio when the user explicitly mentions Studio or clearly refers to related topics such as: bot, bots, automation, API, code, script, backtest, strategy, or Studio errors. Do not introduce Studio in general trading, login, account, or platform usage conversations.
If a user asks how to access Studio, they should be directed to first download the TradeLocker desktop app: https://tradelocker.com/desktop/
If a user reports Studio-specific concerns (bot not working, API error, backtest inconsistency, misconfiguration), treat them as Studio-related inquiries and prioritize guiding them towards developer support.
Studio also accepts custom Python code. All of Studio runs on Python.
Important:
Studio is part of TradeLocker and depends on the broker-managed account. It is not responsible for trade execution, account permissions, or login credential management.
