Charts data

Chart data depends on your broker’s price feed

Important

TradeLocker does not control chart data or price feeds. All chart data comes from your broker or prop firm’s liquidity provider

Differences in charts across platforms are expected. Missing or incorrect data must be verified with your broker or prop firm

What this means

Charts in TradeLocker are powered by your broker’s liquidity provider.

Each broker uses a different data source, which affects:

  • Price movements

  • Candlestick patterns

  • Indicator values

  • Historical data availability

Because of this, charts may look different across platforms or brokers.

If a chart is not displaying or data is missing, it is usually related to the broker’s feed.

Common reasons chart data is missing

  • Broker price feed is delayed or unavailable

  • Instrument is not supported or has limited data

  • Missing historical data from the provider

  • Temporary disruption from the liquidity provider

  • Account does not have access to that symbol

What to do

  1. Contact your broker or prop firm

    • Confirm the symbol’s data feed

    • Check your account access

    • Verify missing or incomplete data

    • Ask if missing data will be filled

  2. Check your setup

    • Make sure your account is connected to a supported broker

    • If your broker is no longer integrated, consider switching via the TradeLocker Hub

  3. Refresh the platform

    • Refresh your web platform or restart the TradeLocker app

    • Reopen the app after restarting to ensure all components load correctly

  4. Reload the chart

    • Create a copy of your current chart layout to preserve your settings

    • Open chart settings and use the reload or refresh option

    • This often resolves loading concerns without affecting your trading data

  5. Check for hidden candles

    • Navigate to the drawing toolbar and scroll to the Object tree

    • Click the eye icon next to the instrument to show or hide candles

Additional context

Even platforms like TradingView may show different charts because they use different liquidity providers.

Variations in price, candles, and indicators are normal when comparing platforms.

When to contact support

If your broker needs assistance, best practice is for them to contact TradeLocker directly through Brand Support.
